Getting iReady

Here it was the day July 11th, 2008. Some of you may ask what was so special about that day well that I say was iDay the day iGot the new iPhone 3G. As some of you know I have the iPhone running on edge which I purchased in September of 2007. I was so happy the week before as some people said “iReady” thats what I told them I was getting iReady. So Thursday night comes and I started watching Leo Laporte from in the  morning and so I was watching him and 1 hits and I saw I need some rest so I go to bed and can’t sleep and go back to watching Leo as the time flies its 3 and I see a tweet for Neal Campbell and he says why go to bed now if I had to get up in an hour so thats what I said. 4:30 I get off the computer pack up and were off me and my dad go to the AT&T store. 

The iWait in the iLine

I thought I would be the only one there that early but my hopes were down I got there and I ended being 13th in line which was not bad. So I get starbucks and I start to wait as I know it by doing some qik videos and talking to some people its already 7 I go to see where the end of the line was and it was more then 100 people I was suspired. 8:00 hits and we are moving.

iGetting the iPhone

I get inside and go to a machine and click what I want put my number in. It prints out a receipt. I take it to a man and we talk and I say I want the 16 gb black he runs to the back to get and he activates it and I pay. Were off home I try to call a good friend Billy Hime in the car from my iPhone and it didn’t go through apparently it didn’t activate all the way.

I am home and call AT&T and finish activating my iPhone all I had to do is call and press some buttons. I plug it into iTunes and finish activating there too and finally restore from my old iPhone. I want to thank my Parents and Grandparents for making my iDream come true.

Summer is already here and I am glad. I plan to accomplish alot. I will say what I know and keep you guys updated. In the month of June I will be spending it with him and where he work which means I will be working for him. And I plan to be at the launch of what is said the new iPhone which will be 3G. I know there is a big chance of it coming out even though I have an iPhone which is edge I will plan to buy it with the money I sold my PSP and some games. With my money I plan on getting from working I will buy a MIni DV cam for recording videos and maybe starting a video podcast. Hope everyone has a great summer.

If you are wondering why I haven’t been blogging its because I have been busy getting my podcast up and I have been really busy with school. Podcasting I have got nine episodes out and I am very happy with that. My tenth or eleventh episode will be live. I am finally done with school and exams I did not do as well as I expected but I will try harder next year.

Today was media day for BarCampOrlando, It was interesting of what they talked about. They didn’t have many talks today and was looking forward to more talks. But that talks I attened were

Those were all good especially the podcasting talk with Ryan Price where I was streaming live. I learned alot this weekend. Thanks to all of you who helped out make BarCamp a fun time for me and everyone else.

Today I have attended Dev day for BarCampOrlando I have listened to a few Conversations those few that I listened to I learned things that I would have never imaged. The Conversations I listened to were:

• Central Florida Tech Association
• Arts Longa Vita Brevis ( Art is forever, life is short.)
• CSS 3.0
• Creating Object Oriented Designs from Natural Language 
• Past, Present and Future of Tech in Central Florida

They were all great and I learned alot Thanks to everyone who talked. 

I have recently been talking about a new Podcast and Site well its ready I have recently done the podcast and I am releasing it today The name for my podcast is Apple Juice Show  I have been working hard on it with me and my team to getting up and ready and it finally is. Enjoy

As some of you heard I will be starting a new podcast. It will be tech news, Apple rumors and updates. There has not been a date set yet for the launch for the site. So stay tuned.

Today March 6 there was a press conference which Steve Jobs held today to talk about the SDK for the iPhone and iTouch it was amazing from what I saw it all. The update 2.0 will consist of Microsoft Active and the SDK compatibility where people can create or get the Applications off the store called App Store where they can be downloaded off of wifi or the iPhones network the update can be available for June. 

I am proudly to announce that I will be attending the second day of Barcamp Orlando so if anyone can come I would greatly appreciate it.
